About the author

My name is Chegham Wassim, I am a French student in computer science, and I am currently preparing my Master's degree in software engineering, with an emphasis in Computer Science and Information Technology and Communication.
I have been interested in Web development, Web design and graphic design since 2005: I have been enjoying practicing my creativity in building cool and useful websites and apps!
In addition, I also enjoy developing Web applications because I believe that the design and the development of a web app has currently become as mush important as building a desktop app (or native apps if you will). To me, the Web platform is the future.
Ever since I started Web development, I have been using PHP, Python and MySQL as server side technologies. In fact, I like the "ubiquity" of Python and the simplicity of PHP and MySQL!
Regarding the client side technologies, and more precisely JavaScript, I am used to develop with the jQuery library, I believe it is very powerful and quite simple to use; besides, it is amazing how you can "write less and do more" fun apps with that library :)
And yeah! I forgot to mention that I am a big fun of Android, and more generally of Google. I really really appreciate what Google is doing for us, users and developers, and what it is doing for technologies whether speaking of Internet, mobile or softwares and Open source programs and the list goes on. Thank you Google so much!
My philosophy in life is to never stop learning; so this is why I like learning and trying new technologies. I really believe in what Master Yoda has said one day: "You must unlearn what you have learned".
Of course, I don't spend all my time developing and designing web and mobile apps, I also like reading scientific books and magazines, watching movies, documentaries and series, and also traveling all around the world. I actually have been to Canada, the UK, Morocco (my native country), Japan, the USA, Trinidad & Tobago (in the Caribbean) ... Moreover, I love listening to music. In fact, I really believe that sometimes music is an amazing source of inspiration! Don't you agree? Well to me it is :)
